A good friend of mine — who goes by the name of Stan — kept nagging me that I was only dishing out the most primordial, ancient types of guns, but never anything with a more modern flavor. So this is my try at a more recent gun design. I also realized I have never made any proper weapon charms before, and thought this one would be kinda nice. My little yorkie used to have a tiny toy just like this penguin charm, may his adorable soul be blessed and rest comfortably.

Optimization went a bit out of the window (in my mind at least), as I wanted to retain as many geometric details as possible for certain render shots, especially when using a pathtracer. The scope attachment comes in at 17,882 vertices, and the rest of the gun plus magazine at 29,734 vertices. With all accessories attached, the weapon comes in at 91,211 tris - or 47,616 vertices.

Average texel density of 136 px/cm for gun, scope, magazine and bullets. The wooden stock is separate from other texture-sets, as it uses a different shader with clear-coat maps and on-the-fly recoloring support.
